Dream a Little Dream with Me
🌙
Words in Bloom, will you join me on this sojourn,
Where shadows and light in twilight churn?
Where clouds, though clouds, weave tales so fine,
And stars in silence, their secrets align.
.
Let’s wade through the ocean, not in terror's grip,
But in wonder's awe, where mysteries slip.
Dreams we shall hold, not left to sleep,
For in their embrace, our souls find their keep.
Together we’ll wander where day meets night,
In the land where dreams and truths unite.
Words in Bloom, let’s journey and see,
The endless realms of what could be.

Lead me unto unexplored terrain
A hidden querencia, where dreams remain
Through lands of hope and plains of glory
We rearrange the stars of an altered story
Through pearlescent clouds we leap and bound
Surfing stardust, heavens to ground
Collecting moonbeams in darkest night
We fill our hearts with shards of light
In the ether, minds cavort
Creating kingdoms of all assort
Queens of possibility, long may we reign
Etching dreams in the cosmos,
Our hearts can't contain.
My kneejerk reaction here is to say "Noooo keep on dreaming!"... But i have to admit it is refreshing and challenging to have someone saying the other thing for once. Its sobering at least.
Oh, I wanted this poem to go a different direction, but hard truths are true, even if just for a season, and an opportunity form dreams to resurrect.
